Wood County Society is igniting a social movement in our community by empowering individuals to unite complex situations that impact us all – one program at a time. Wood County Society provides programs and resources for individuals with disabilities in Wood, Jackson, Roane, Calhoun, Ritchie, Tyler, Pleasants and Wirt Counties in West Virginia and Washington, Athens and Meigs counties in Ohio.
Wood County Society’s vision is to ensure communities are united to recognize youth and adults for their abilities.

Artbeat Studio is a collaborative arts center in beautiful downtown Parkersburg, West Virginia. The backbone of the Artbeat Studio is a group of talented artists with developmental differences creating masterpieces from up-cycled materials. This collaborative process helps create an environment that fosters accessibility, inclusion, abundance, and compassion to ensure communities are united and live their best lives!
