The Western WV Metro Band, a community concert band based in Ripley will perform its first Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 10 at 2:30 PM. The concert will be in the auditorium at Ripley High School. The band, established in February, is under the direction of Sherry Poole and assistant director Jeanette Bowlby. Members are from Jackson, Wood, Pleasants, Roane, Mason, and Kanawha Counties. There is no ticket required to attend. Freewill donations will be accepted to support the band.
