Ohio River Kayak Tour

Paddle the backchannel waters at Middle Island while learning about the area’s resources! Kayaking offers a unique opportunity to appreciate the river’s serenity, as well as the refuge’s birds and other wildlife! You may bring your own watercraft, or we have a limited number of kayaks, paddles and life jackets to provide on a first come, first served basis. (We have eight single occupancy kayaks and two tandem kayaks for adult and child). Children must be accompanied by an adult. Secure footwear is required. Hat, sunscreen and drinking water are recommended. May be cancelled in high winds or inclement weather.
