If you’re interested in railroading and Parkersburg area history, you will be delighted by model trains, old and new, featured at the Mid-Ohio Valley Model Railroad Club’s annual Harold Shive Memorial Open House.
Trains will be running in HO, O, N and G scales on several highly-detailed layouts, many of which depict vignettes of bygone days and historic events in Parkersburg.
This family-oriented open house is free to the public and is located in the rear basement of NOE Office Equipment at 610 Green Street in historic downtown Parkersburg. The event honors the late Harold Shive of Pennsboro, WV, who
was an important, and beloved, member of the MOVMRC for many years.
