Join us in making a creative space that is for the birds!
Ken Pearce will present a mini-class series for students in grades 5-8. Students will learn to build using slab construction as they create a birdhouse in the first class. They will return two weeks later to glaze their bisque-fired houses. These birdhouses will then be kiln fired for a second time to ready them for years of use and enjoyment.
The first class will meet Saturday, July 10th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. then the glazing techniques class will meet Saturday, July 24th from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Cost for this series $60 (this includes the cost of clay, glazes and kiln firing) (PAC Members receive 20% discount).
