Join us at the Historic Oakland Mansion (1131 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101) on Jan. 30, from 6 – 8 p.m., for an open house! Learn about the history of the home and a recent metal detecting dig that led to the discovery of many historic artifacts. Gary McDonald, from Mid-Ohio Valley Relic Recovery, will be giving a presentation of his findings beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tours of the home will be going throughout the event.
This event is free and open to the public! Monetary donations are appreciated and go towards upkeep of the home.
